I'm just a real life mom who shares her heart and family via a blog. I'm not a professional writer, photographer, perfect mother or wife. But who I am is important to me, and being true to myself is the number one priority. That part of sharing yourself online is often forgotten or glossed over - but being honest with your readers, along with writing relevant content, is what it's all about for me.
Hi, I'm the Pierogie Mama {aka Bianca}.
Hi, I'm the Pierogie Mama {aka Bianca}.
Welcome to my corner of the internet. Over here you can sit down, grab a pastry and your morning (or evening) beverage of choice and chat with me. Just like most blog origin stories, mine started as a way to document the start of parenthood when I became a stay at home mama to my first daughter - Penny. Since then we've welcomed our second daughter, Ruby, and are expecting a little boy in the Summer 2017!
At The Pierogie Mama you can be sure of a few things - a little bit of tongue in cheek humor on mamahood, a heart for living naturally (while being financially responsible), good food, getting excited about serving others, updates on modern day homestead, traveling with children, perhaps some oversharing on cloth diapers and babywearing and finally - the forever tenuous relationship between my flock of backyard chickens and Australian Shepherds; Squirt and Sheila (they are on instagram as @two_aussie_tales).
In addition to being a lifestyle and parenting blog I like to write product, service and event reviews (focused on Washington State) - sometimes there's a giveaway thrown in too!
PR Friendly:
If you are a company who has a product or service that you believe is in line with the topics on my blog, I want to hear from you! I also have advertising available. Please send me an email at thepierogiemama@gmail.com if I can answer any questions, or if you want to say "hey!"
If you are a blogger who is interested in guest posting on my blog or are looking for a guest poster, I'd also love to hear from you!
Disclosure:
From time to time I write posts in which I accepted forms of payment (such as cash advertising, sponsorship, or other forms of compensation). However, because this is my very own space of the internet you can rest assured that if I am promoting it, I agree with it. I always give my honest opinion and therefore, not every sponsor that approaches me ends up being spoken about here. If I have been compensated in any
way it will be disclosed on that individual post.
Interesting story about the house project, I'm not that brave!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to read about a mom that is trying to go natural and organic. I am going that direction more and more because I know it is better for my kids AND the planet!! Good job!!
ReplyDeleteHi Bianca! I just found your blog today through Found Frolicking, written by a friend of mine. I am in the Seattle area, too, and just started a blog. It's fun to find other local mamas blogging, especially ones who I have stuff in common with. I'm a big natural birth supporter, as well a big believer in attachment parenting, and while we currently eat a pretty crappy diet (if I'm being honest), it's my goal to get us (me, hubby, and our son) eating a more healthy natural diet this year. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I'll definitely be reading. :)
