Win a 3 pack of Lotus Bumz Cloth Diapers or a pair of Doodle Pants leggings!

For the second year in a row, I am excited to be a part of the Cuckoo for Cloth giveaway event! Zephyr Hill Blog and ConservaMom are two of my favorite cloth diapering bloggers and they've coordinated a fun giveaway event for us cloth loving families too. After reading my post, be sure to check out their grand prize package (includes items from Funky Fluff, GroVia, Wink Diapers, Margaux & May, Zookaboo and Geffen Baby), as well as the link up of bloggers at the bottom of the post, because we each have a fluffy giveaway of our own too!
_________________

I've been a cloth diapering mama for 38 months and through two kids. Whew! As a blogger I have gotten to try out over two dozen brands of diapers and countless cloth coordinating accessories. But wanna know about two of my favorite fluffy items? Lotus Bumz and Doodle Pants! Keep reading to find out how you can win!

Lotus Bumz diapers are pocket style cloth diaper, meaning they made of two layers - an outer layer of waterproof PUL and an inner layer of moisture wicking fleece. The back end has an elastic secured opening that you "stuff" an insert into which is what soaks up the mess. Lotus Bumz cloth diapers come with a microfiber insert, but are compatible with pretty much any brand or material of insert available. My own stash is made of probably over 20 different brands, styles and material choices of inserts and they all fit in very well.

The diapers are called "one size," meaning that they will grow with your baby from newborn to potty training. You adjust the diaper size by the rows of center snaps and fit around the waist using the hip snaps. My girls are 2 years apart and for about 10 months I cloth diapered both of them - it was super easy to adjust the fit for the infant vs the toddler.

You also can't beat the seriously adorable prints that you can find!

Enter to win a 3 pack of cloth diapers from Lotus Bumz. The winner will get to choose boy, girl or gender neutral prints (based on stock availability).

Doodle Pants have been a long time favorite over here. It all started when Penny was learning how to walk and I realized just how hard it is to dress a cloth diapered little girl. Because seriously, diaper bulge is just unnecessary. Since then I've been in love with them because they are such a comfy fit and are versatile throughout most of our temperate weather here in Washington.
Because I'm a baby wearing mama, I also try to make sure that the clothes my kids wear are comfortable for them too. I've worn Ruby for at least 6 hours a day for the first year of her life; including visits to the grocery store, running around at the zoo, play dates and cooking dinner. Most pants ride up when a baby is in a soft structured carrier and it would be so sad to find her poor little chubby calves and ankles cold. Doodle Pants always stay where they need to be and stretch just right to keep her comfortable. So not only are they fluffy butt ready, but they are babywearing friendly too! Double win in my book.

You can now coordinate your favorite Doodle Pants leggings with their new clothing line, like toddler sweatshirts, onesies, t-shirts and play dresses to match your Doodle Pants.  I especially love the sweatshirts because the hole is a little larger than standard to easily fit baby and toddler heads through. Doodle Pants is also offering  a 15% off discount on by using the code PIEROGIE15!
As a separate prize, Pierogie Mama readers can enter to win a pair of Doodle Pants leggings too!

Doodle Pants Galore!

I love me some Doodle Pants! I've been using these as my go-to for when it comes to how to dress my cloth diapered girls, and now Doodle Pants keeps rolling out the new accessorizing t-shirts, sweat-shirts, body suits (onesies) dresses and even more leggings designs.. I'm pretty much in Doodle heaven over here.

Elephant Bodysuit
Can't you just eat up this delicious sweetness? I am so in love with my squishy baby!

I love dressing my girls in their Doodle Pants outfits because Lorain's designs are adorable, the quality of the printing is great, and I love how well the leggings withstand washing too. You don't get "runs" in the legs like you do in other brands.

Pink Monster T-Shirt
Pink Monster Dress
The Pink Monster line has been Penny's favorite, though we also do rock the pink fox leggings, rainbow leggings, and even have matching sister piggy leggings for big and little sis. With the holidays around the corner (uhm like 12 weekends to go until Thanksgiving!), I've gotten the chance to bring some holiday cheer a little early and got these cuties to try out!
Moose // Penguin
Penny calls her moose pants her "Sven pants," because...well, you know. Can't really escape Frozen from any aspect of our life these days. :)

Ready to Pop: Labor Day Inspired Prizes for Mama and baby!

Welcome to the Ready to POP! [a Labor Day inspired Giveaway Hop] hosted by the Blogging Mamas Network!
This year we're celebrating Labor Day in a totally fun way – by offering fabulous giveaways for Mamas and Babies who have done some of the hardest labor out there! Each blogger in this Hop has a fabulous Mama or Baby prize for you to enter to win – so be sure to hop around to them all after you’ve entered to win the fabulous Grand Prize, featuring Buttons Diapers and Beautiful Earth!
-------
I love my Pierogie Mama sponsors - each one is a fabulous shop that is easy to work with, offers quality products and best of all, are small businesses owned by a mom or family. So in honor of this great relationship, we've come together for this giveaway hop to give you the best of their best!

First up is Doodle Pants. You've seen them show up on the blog in the past as how to dress a cloth diapered girl and also their toddler sweatshirt line! Lorain is always dreaming up new ideas and over the summer she's debuted new leggings styles as well as coordinating body suits, dresses and t-shirts to compliment our favorite Doodle Pants leggings. Oh, and did I mention that you can totally coordinate these styles with the schmancy limited edition BumGenius prints, like Chaplin, Jules and Spence? Check out my two cuties in their new Doodle Pants outfits to see her new styles.

StarGazer Soaps is my longest blog sponsor! Last summer she sent me a few bars of handmade soap and I've been hooked since. Nicole is an absolute sweetheart and her dedication to her family's health is so inspiring. She was finally fed up with the chemicals in commercial bath products and needed a solution to her family's skin problems. She started making her own soaps and found that people wanted to buy them! I mean come on, look at them. They're gorgeous! But the best part is that not only are they beautiful to look at and smell, they really work. Read my testimony on how her Oatmeal Milk & Honey soap has helped cure Ruby's cradle cap.

Sankofa Diapers runs a deal on two cloth diapers per week (follow on facebook!) and she's got my heart because Sankofa Diapers use diaper inserts that are a bamboo-microfiber blend. Oh, and Penny just loves her froggy princess diaper. They're super absorbent and what makes them stand out is how you can layer your inserts to accommodate boys (who pee more towards the front of a diaper) vs girls (who pee more towards the middle). Plus, again with the cuteness, who can resist prints like these?

My Kiddies Kloset is your place to go if you're looking for adorable baby accessories on a budget. You can find baby shoes, hair bows and bands, ties and bow ties, leg warmers, food pouches, and so much more.

Each one of these sponsors also offers Pierogie Mama readers a discount - check these out:

Doodle Pants: 15% off with promo code PIEROGIE15
Stargazer Soaps: 20% off with promo code PIER10

Win Funky Fluff and Doodle Pants for your #clothdiaper stash!

This post was originally part of the Cuckoo for Cloth hop.
_____________________________

This post is going to be short and sweet because you all know just how much I love me my Funky Fluff cloth diapers and Doodle Pants. Why? Let me list the reasons below.
  • Doodle Pants are made to fit over a cloth diapered bum. Enough said. Here's my tips for dressing a cloth diapered girl
  • Change is a constant over there. Check often for new designs!
  • Doodle Pants recently rolled out their coordinating clothing line - so you can find toddler sweatshirts, onesies, t-shirts and play dresses to match your Doodle Pants.
  • Get 15% off your order of Doodle Pants by using the code PIEROGIE15!
-------
    • Funky Fluff cloth diapers come in two material choices: stay dry (micro-suede) and bamboo. The stay-dry is truly stay dry and the bamboo is so incredibly thirsty. Their bamboo diapers are by far my absolute favorite in our cloth diaper stash! My toddler is a side-sleeper and tends to leak if she had too much to drink before bed, and she has NEVER leaked in either of these materials.
    • Their bamboo inserts, specifically the bamboo booster, are a MUST HAVE in my stash. The inserts are so dense, thirsty yet trim. Please, do yourself the favor and get a pair. These are required for our night-night diapers.
    • I love their solids color combo. Penny particularly loves the bubbles and the pink & grey diapers
Both of these fabulous sponsored would love to send a prize pack to one lucky Pierogie Mama reader - you'll have the opportunity to win a pair of Doodle Pants and a the choice of a bamboo or stay-dry Funky Fluff cloth diaper! How awesome is that?! Check out the instructions below.

Monthly Its: February (oops! A little late!)

The month of February flew by and I'm very guilty of completely forgetting to post this! I've been on baby-watch for the last two weeks, busy preparing the house for our addition, battled the crud for the entire family, adjusted to becoming a 'backyard chicken family' and fitting in last minute one-on-one snuggles with Penny. Lord only knows just how busy March will be - with Penny graduating to being a 2 year old today and I'm dying to know when her little sister is planning on making her arrival, as tomorrow is her estimated due date.

This month's premier Pierogie Mama sponsor is Heather's Green Home Goods. Heather has been kind enough to send over some newborn cloth diapers that I will be reviewing next month for Ruby, but in the meantime check out her really unique and extremely quick drying design on fitted cloth diapers. She offers custom color combinations too! A few other items that you'll find dispersed throughout her Etsy and website are cloth Swiffer style replacements (what an AWESOME idea!), wool dryer balls, and un-paper towels with super cute designs. She also shares a ton of tutorials on her blog so be sure to bookmark her for fun projects. If you click on the Heather's Green Home Goods ad on my sidebar you'll get an automatic 15% discount, or just send her a message and let her know The Pierogie Mama sent ya ;)

Sankofa Diapers has brought back unrefined organic shea butter onto their site! Yum. I've cruised around and found a pretty easy recipe for a body butter recipe that uses shea butter and coconut oil and am pretty positive that in a couple weeks this mama could definitely use a delicious foot rub after the marathon of birth and nursing a newborn (hint hint hubby!). Don't forget to get 15% off with the code PIEROGIEMAMA for any of Sankofa Diaper's cloth diapers!

Pssst, if you are a Stargazer Soaps fan on facebook, you probably already know...but if not...she is coming out with lip balms, lotion bars, bath bombs (!!!) and sugar scrubs in addition to her already amazing line of soaps. They're not available on her store just yet but that was just a little insider information from me to you. Her scent combinations in her soaps (like teakwood + cardamom or vegan lemon basil) are always a winner so I can't wait to see what else I can smear on my body that comes from Stargazer Soaps! ;) Promocode PIER10 will get you 10% off your order!

    "Mama - Penny Moster Shuuuuuuuuuuurt?"
"Mama - Penny Moster Sweeeeeeeeat Shuuuuuuuuuuuurt?" (in increasingly distressed tone)
That's been the main request when it's time to get dressed around here. Penny LOVES her Pink Monster coordinating outfit from Doodle Pants and I can't keep it cycled through the wash fast enough, lol! The great news is that even though her Doodle Pants leggings have been washed numerous times we have yet to get any runs or bare threads. I seriously can't keep up with all the new designs that are rolling out so be sure to take advantage of another really awesome Pierogie Mama sponsor discount of 15% with the code PIEROGIE15

Doodle Pants Sweats and Tshirts: Little Monster Missy

Kids in sweatshirts: adorable and a little sad at the same time... they look so grown up!

We've had the opportunity to review Doodle Pants childrens leggings in the past and have found that they are our #1 go-to for pants because they leave tons of room for a cloth diapered bum. I feel like cloth diapered little girls especially suffer from the borderline hilarious but mostly horrifying badonkadonk that regular kid clothes give them. I've had parents ask me if my daughter's diaper needs to be changed because it's so puffy looking! So we found that Doodle Pants leggings fix that problem perfectly and keep my princess's legs warm at the same time. Both her and my dignity have been saved. Win-win! Thanks Doodle Pants :)

Now the big news is that Doodle Pants is rolling out coordinating t-shirts and sweatshirts for their most popular leggings too! We got to accessorize Miss Penny with the Pink Monster line, with a toddler sized sweatshirt and t-shirt to match her adorably monstrous leggings!

    Sizing: Penny is wearing a 2T sweatshirt, 12m t-shirt and 24m leggings.
The little miss has loved this outfit so much that she has worn at least one piece of it almost daily and asks for her "wet shurt" whenever there is a chance we may be going outside.

Lusting to add these cuties to your collection? You're in luck - my readers get an exclusive 15% off deal - use the coupon code PIEROGIE15 and you're in business.

BTW, did you miss my original review of Doodle Pants' cloth diaper friendly leggings?

Don't miss your chance to win 2 sets of leggings from Doodle Pants in my Favorite Things Giveaway

Which leggings design would you like to see in a sweatshirt?

Disclosure: I received product to try out in exchange for my honest review, though all opinions are my own. I love Doodle Pants!

Oprah gets to giveaway some of her favorite things, right? So here's your chance to win some of mine!

1 Funky Fluff Bamboo Fusion 2.0 cloth diaper
This diaper saved my (well, Penny's mostly) butt for night time. We were beginning to go through a phase where it seemed like anything and everything leaked throughout the night and then I got to try the original version of Funky Fluff Bamboo Fusion diapers. Worked like a charm! Then I got the opportunity to review the revamped 2.0 Fusion diaper and was just as pleased!

1 10lb box of Country Save Detergent
At the beginning of cloth diapering, I gave several brands a shot. Country Save has withstood the test of time and our diapers have consistently remained clean and a 10 lb box lasts me a LONG time. In the almost 23 months of cloth, we've probably gone through about 4 10 lb boxes; and that includes at least 75% of our clothes being washed with this detergent too!

    Doodle Pants
Every mom wants her little cuties in adorable outfits, right? I first discovered Doodle Pants because they make cloth diaper friendly leggings, which we absolutely adore! You will get a chance to win 2 pairs of Doodle Pants leggings. Now they've come out with a line of clothing to coordinate with some of their most popular styles of leggings! I can't wait to share pictures of Penny in her Pink Monster outfit.

1 box with 6 Woolzies Wool Dryer Balls
Woolzies Wool Dryer Balls have been essential in my laundry regime. They've cut down on my drying time, are all natural and mean ZERO fabric softener or dryer sheet use! That's been a huge help in making sure that our cloth diapers have zero build up. Learn more about how Woolzies wool dryer balls save money.

$20 egift certificate to Irresistibly Green
Now it's your turn to get you get one of your favorite things, or try something new! The Irresistibly Green family has so much to offer; from cloth diapers to skin care to something for the home. They even have a great bargain bin to stretch your dollar further!

    Monthly Its: January

Welcome to 2014, y'all! This last year flew by, didn't it? I can't believe that I'm 33 weeks and that my little girl is almost 2 years old. Pretty soon I'll be calling her 'my eldest.' Where has the time gone?

This weekend was packed full of fun family stuff - my mother in law's 50th birthday party, visiting with my parents and our 3rd trimester babymoon at Salish Lodge and Spa (I can't wait to share about it with you!). But in all honesty I'm hoping it's the last exciting weekend before Ruby arrives. I've reached the stage in my pregnancy where I'm in full nesting mode - I've got my dresser project, I've pulled out all the totes of Penny's newborn clothes and gear (just need to wash everything), we have the second half of our kitchen renovation to finish, and I just plain want to relax and have quiet family time until my little girl makes her arrival.

Bloggers and website owners: if the new year means a new look for you, I highly recommend Fantastique Designs! She is offering free blogger to word press conversions when you purchase her Wordpress design package. As you know, she's done a great job in my blog revamp and I can count on her for support when it is necessary. Lauren from The Median Mommy was the winner to my giveaway of a blog redesign package and it's just another example of Monique's great design work. Check out her personal blog about homeschooling at Living Life and Learning for a ton of resources.

Have you heard about Doodle Pants? These are leggings for both boys and girls, with cloth diapered bums in mind. Penny pulls out one of her two pairs (Pink Fox or Blue Rainbow) at least once a week when we go to pick out her daily outfit. Adorable! These have also been spotted on celeb babies such as Maxwell Johnson (aka: Jessica Simpson's daughter!). Get your littles into Doodle Pants with the 15% off coupon code PIEROGIE15.

Do you treat yourself on Valentine's Day? Does it always have to be chocolate? Why not gorgeous handmade soap? StarGazer Soaps' 2014 Valentine soap line includes MeropeCapella Electra. They will be ready to ship on January 26th. If you want to be sure to get them by Valentines Day place your order by February 11 (with priority shipping). Don't forget to use discount code PIER10 for 10% off! I'm excited to share a $25 gift certificate to StarGazer Soaps with one lucky reader starting January 23rd as well!

Sankofa Diapers is the newest diaper that Penny has been wearing and is by far her favorite print. Why? Her nickname from her Polish babcia (my mom) is Zabka, which means froggy. Consider that your hint - I've got our review & giveaway for a 3 pack cloth diapers from Sankofa Diapers going live this week so keep your eyes peeled!

Check out my current giveaways - we've got cloth diapers and organic baby food pouches!
